Project Outcomes
With a combined commitment of over Php 1 billion, the EU and AECID aim to bolster the Philippine Government's endeavors in enhancing access to justice and human rights for all Filipinos. Know more about what GOJUST hopes to achieve by the end of the project.

Outcome 1
Enhanced capacity of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) to exert its constitutional mandate of civil and political rights protection, as well as, prevention of human rights violations.

Accelerating human rights investigation

Upgrading CHR’s case analysis, monitoring, and management

Partnerships with government agencies on domestic human rights investigative capacity

Mainstreaming CHR’s Gender Ombud functions in its programs and projects

Enhancing CHR’s capacity to protect and promote human rights in detention facilities

Outcome 2
Enhanced capacity of the CHR to gather data, monitor, report, and formulate sound human rights policies for equitable and sustainable development.

Intensifying mechanism on data collection, monitoring, reporting, and policy advocacy functions in view of human rights thematic concerns

Enhanced capacity of the CHR to promote human rights and sustain partnerships with stakeholders
