Youth Leaders and Artists Team Up for Gen-Z Voters Education and Human Rights

Youth leaders and artists from Barangay Tanza 1 and 2 in Navotas City joined the Gen Z Voters Learning Booth on 12 August 2024. This initiative highlights the significant role that Gen Z voters play in shaping the political landscape with a rights-based approach, through capacity-building activities targeted towards training, organizing, and coalition work. This aims to increase voter registration and participation in the upcoming 2025 elections.

The project utilized the MINDSPACE framework, a socio-behavioral approach, to boost voter registration among Gen Z. By focusing on factors like social norms, visibility, and personal pride, it creates tailored, engaging materials—such as posters, stickers, and social media content—that resonate with young voters. These materials will be customized to fit local languages and cultures, making them more effective in motivating Gen Z to register and participate in elections. The goal is to make civic engagement appealing and relevant to Gen Z, encouraging them to elect leaders who prioritize human rights.
Gen Z Voters Learning Booth is a series of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) led by @Active Citizen Foundation, in partnership with @chrgovph, supported by @GOJUSTHR, and co-funded by the @EUintheinthePH and @AECIDPhilippines.
